| We have found nine extraordinary logs.
Extracted from a small swamp area north of Dargaville in Northern New Zealand, these nine logs fell over just 1800 years ago.
Much closer to the surface, these logs have not had the darkening influence of the swamps that the much older logs have had.
They have been covered by migrating sand dunes and resemble the lighter New Zealand Kauri of earlier times.
Reserved solely for the Newport Range the pieces are offered in a "Clear" finish.
Airy and light, an elegant mix of informal design with beautiful wood.
Each piece offers a unique opportunity as once these logs are gone we are not certain of any more of this unique colour and standard. |
